From 19 August 2026, the Self Service application on eligible University-managed Macs will be upgraded from Jamf Self Service Classic to Jamf Self Service+.

Users will continue to access the same software catalogue and self-service resources, but through an updated application with an improved user experience. The most noticeable change will be a new Self Service icon and interface.

No downtime is expected, and no action is required from users. The update will be applied automatically to eligible devices.

This change is required, as Jamf Self Service Classic has reached the end of its life, and is being replaced by the newer supported version.
