iTrent (including ESS and MSS) will be unavailable while we carry out a planned upgrade to support a mandatory update required for the next financial year. This update includes important payroll and legislative changes (such as national insurance and rate code updates). OneDrive - Storage Quota Update

We are making an update to OneDrive storage limits in line with new University standards. Default storage allocations will be set to 50 GB for staff and 500 GB for students. This change increases the default OneDrive storage allocation for both staff and students, providing more space for files and reducing the need to request additional storage.

Network (Ethernet & Wi-Fi) - Upgrade in 1 South

We are replacing end-of-life Network (Ethernet & Wi-Fi) equipment in this location to improve connectivity, security, and enable new features. Users may experience brief interruptions (around 1 minute) to both wired and Wi-Fi connections during this upgrade.
Nimbus HPC - GPU Upgrade

We will be carrying out planned maintenance on the Nimbus HPC cluster with work expected to last up to 30 hours.
This maintenance is required because some of the current GPU hardware used by Nimbus is being retired by our cloud provider. To ensure continued availability and long-term support, we will be upgrading the cluster to newer, next-generation GPU nodes.

macOS - Self Service Upgrade (Self Service+)

During this time, iTrent Employee Self Service (ESS) and Manager Self Service (MSS) will be unavailable for up to 2 hours. All users will be logged out at the start of the upgrade, and access will be restored once the upgrade and post-upgrade checks are complete.
