Please be advised that SPSS version 27 and AMOS version 30 (as well as all earlier versions) will reach End of Life on August 31, 2025. After this date, these versions will cease to function and will no longer be supported.

We are replacing end-of-life network equipment in this location to improve connectivity, security, and enable new features. Users may experience brief interruptions (around 1 minute) to wired and Wi-Fi connections during this upgrade.

Engage (https://engage.bath.ac.uk), the Virtual Learning Environment for Distance Learning students (https://online.bath.ac.uk/), will be unavailable on Wednesday 27th August while the supplier carries out a migration.

Due to essential electrical works, network and Wi-Fi services in Wessex House L3 will be unavailable for the duration of the power isolation. This outage will affect all areas except the Security Control Room on Level 1.

Due to quarterly software and security updates to the underlying service infrastructure, Nextcloud (files.bath.ac.uk) will briefly be unavailable during this period.

We are upgrading core campus internet gateway routers to the latest recommended firmware. No service outages are expected, but there may be brief, minor disruptions as traffic reroutes via resilient paths.

The Mahara e-portfolio system is going to be upgraded on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 September 2025, and will be unavailable for two days whilst the upgrade takes place. Please make sure you are logged out of your account before that day to avoid any loss of work.

UniHub (https://unihub.bath.ac.uk/) will be unavailable for one day while it is migrated to the supplier’s cloud platform.
