Maintenance affecting the University's core wireless network infrastructure is scheduled between 07:00 and 09:00 on 20 August 2026.

No service disruption is expected during this work. However, as the maintenance involves critical network hardware that supports campus Wi-Fi services, there is a risk of unexpected issues occurring during the change.

In the unlikely event of a failure, users across campus may experience brief disruption to wireless network connectivity.

This work is required to restore full resilience to the network infrastructure that supports the University's wireless services.

Network engineers will monitor the implementation throughout the maintenance window and documented recovery procedures are in place should any issues arise.
