To maintain the security, stability, and performance of the University's wireless network, we will be upgrading the firmware on our Aruba Wi‑Fi infrastructure across University buildings, both on and off campus.

This upgrade will use Aruba's live upgrade process, which is designed to minimise disruption by seamlessly moving devices between access points while the work is carried out. While most users are unlikely to notice any impact, some may experience a brief interruption to Wi‑Fi connectivity during the maintenance window.

This work will help improve wireless reliability and performance, while ensuring the University's Wi‑Fi service remains secure, up to date, and fully supported.
