We will be updating the Re:View (Panopto) Scheduler to introduce support for scheduling livestreamed teaching sessions alongside automated lecture recordings.

Following this update, eligible timetabled activities will include a new streaming option within the scheduling form. When a livestream is scheduled, Panopto will automatically create the session and provide a viewer link, which will be shared with the organiser and available within the Scheduler.

This enhancement will improve support for teaching and learning, particularly where lecture theatre capacity is limited or where hybrid and online delivery is required. It will also reduce the need for manual setup by support teams, enabling academic staff to manage livestream scheduling directly.
