Mahara, the University's e-portfolio system, will undergo its annual upgrade in September to introduce a refreshed interface, new features, and platform improvements.

To prepare for the upgrade, Mahara will be unavailable from 15:00 on Friday 11 September 2026. Users should ensure they are logged out before this time to avoid any loss of unsaved work.

The upgraded service is expected to be available again during the afternoon of Tuesday 15 September 2026.

This upgrade will provide an improved user experience through a refreshed interface while ensuring the platform remains secure, reliable, and fully supported.
