We are carrying out a further phase of our on‑campus file storage migration from our existing systems to a new storage solution. This work may cause planned, temporary disruptions to a small number of file shares and application distribution services.

During this maintenance window, the following locations will be synchronised and may be unavailable between 07:00 and 09:00 on 11 September 2026:

• \campus\Files\Public (X:\Public)
• \campus\Files\Public\SALC\Apps (X:\Public\SALC\Apps)

Applications and software packages distributed from these locations may be temporarily unavailable while the migration is completed.

This migration moves file storage onto a modern, fully supported platform, improving reliability, security, and the long‑term sustainability of University file and application services.
