This maintenance includes the firewalls that support both on‑campus internet access and connectivity to Microsoft Azure services.

During this maintenance window, users may experience a very brief interruption to internet and Azure connectivity while services fail over during the upgrade process. Any disruption is expected to last only a few seconds.

This essential maintenance forms part of our ongoing security patching and service improvement programme, helping to ensure the network remains secure, reliable, and fully supported.
