We will be introducing a security update to block high‑risk sign‑in attempts identified by Microsoft’s security systems.

Currently, high‑risk sign‑ins require additional authentication. Following this change, these sign‑in attempts will be blocked entirely to better protect user accounts from compromise.

Most users will not notice any impact. However, in some cases (for example, when using certain VPN services or unfamiliar locations), users may be blocked from signing in and may need to retry from a trusted network or contact the Service Desk.
