We will be carrying out a programme of network upgrades in Eastwood blocks 1–45 to replace end‑of‑life network equipment.

This work will improve the security, reliability, and resilience of network services, while enabling future enhancements and features. Wherever possible, new equipment will be installed and prepared in advance to minimise disruption.

During the upgrade, the existing network switches will need to be replaced, resulting in a temporary outage to wired and wireless network services within the affected building. VoIP telephones and some building management systems (BMS) may also be unavailable while the work is completed.

The upgrades will take place between 7 July and 10 September 2026, aligned with building vacancy periods to minimise impact on residents.
