According to Microsoft, the latest cumulative update for Windows 11 includes a fix for this issue. This update is delivered automatically through Windows Update and Microsoft Update.

The scheduled February 2026 Windows updates are due for release on 10 February 2026, and we hope this issue will be resolved at that point.

In the meantime, users can continue to access UniDesk by logging in through a web browser at https://virtual.bath.ac.uk.

Some users may experience difficulties connecting to UniDesk from the Windows App due to a known Microsoft issue affecting recent versions of Windows. This can impact both managed and personal devices.

Microsoft is expected to resolve this in the February Windows updates. In the meantime, users can continue to access UniDesk by logging in via a web browser at https://virtual.bath.ac.uk.
