Printing - "Can't Access Accounting Server" Error

We have received multiple reports of users seeing a “Can’t Access Accounting Server” error when attempting to print. SHARP, the University’s print service provider, has advised the following steps, which should restore the device to service:
1. Power off the printer.
2. Unplug it from the wall.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Plug it back in and power it on.

On Monday 16 February, all scheduled lecture recordings due to start at 16:15 failed to begin. This was caused by a network issue earlier in the day which required servers to be restarted, and the Panopto scheduling service did not restart cleanly as a result. The issue was identified and resolved shortly afterwards; however, this occurred approximately three minutes too late for the affected recordings to start.

Connect.bath.ac.uk - "Incompatible Browser" Error on iOS Devices

We are continuing to investigate an issue affecting Apple iPhone and iPad devices, where users may intermittently encounter an “Incompatible Browser” error when attempting to install the VPN from connect.bath.ac.uk.
In the meantime, users can still configure VPN access by following the Manual VPN Setup Instructions.
We will share further updates as soon as more information becomes available, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We're marking this incident as resolved due to its intermittent nature.

We are aware of an issue where some users may see a “Server Error in ‘/BusinessWorld’ Application” message. Waiting a few seconds and refreshing your browser window typically resolves the issue.
